2017 was a warm year in California and that had us, and other winemakers worried. Hindsight has taught us that our decision to pick early actually meant we nailed the pick date. As a result, we have a dense and lush Cabernet without jeopardizing the integrity of the fruit.
The wine shows dark mineral graphite, sarsaparilla, cinnamon and clove, very dark cherry cola, and high tones of candied violets. The mouth is power-packed and extracted with plum, cassis, and a touch of kirsch. The finish is long and has a tension I find quite attractive.$58 · Add To Cart
